 There are 2 types of braking systems for most vehicles. Disc brakes, and Drum brakes. Most common type brakes are disc brakes which can come on the front or rear of your vehicle. Drum brakes are only used on the rear braking system of the vehicles. Brake wear will differ from driver to driver, and also road conditions.  Expect faster wear when driving mostly on streets with consistent  stop and go traffic. Average brake life span is usually between 25,000-60,000 miles.  

Radiator hoses typically have an average life span of 60k-90k miles. Although they should be checked periodically with services. Since hoses are primarily made of rubber, outside temperatures and engine temperatures play a primary role in the hoses life.

All 4/6/8 cylinder engine either have a timing belt or a timing chain. It is important to make sure you know what type you have. Though timing belts are often changed between 60,000-90,000 miles, timing chains are more durable and will last much longer than belts.

Average brake life span is usually between 25,000-60,000 miles. Be easy on your brakes, start braking sooner when coming to a stop, and raise the life expectancy dramatically!  Come in for a professional inspection and repair!
